Be part of the exciting 2010-11 year at Studio of Dance.  Building on 30 years of excellence in dance instruction, new teachers, new classes and new opportunities take dance to the next level.

We offer pre-professional training in ballet and jazz and are home to Ballet Theatre Houston and American Jazz Dance Company which provide performance and competition opportunities to our dancers.

Our director, Robert Underwood, provides students excellence in ballet technique and access to the world of professional dance from his years as a principal dancer with ABT, Boston Ballet, and in Europe.

Cece White brings her expertise in developing dancers in jazz, tap and other disciplines having built her reputation working with dancers in the area for more than 25 years.

The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance sutdents of all ages and skill levels. Robert Underwood has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
