Robert shares a wealth of information on a variety of topics, especially ballet. In any class you take from him you are likely to get equal parts of history, pedagogy and current trends while training. "Pedagogy" is the art and science of education. So there you are, you just learned something by reading this blog post.

It's Never Too Late

<itunes:author>Jill Sod</itunes:author>

It’s never too late to join a dance class.

For students interested in joining our Discovery and Pre-Professional Classes, we are working on recital. Because we focus on training versus competition or performance in our classes, we welcome students whether they participate in recital or not. New class members learn the dance and may fill in for anyone missing that day. If a costume becomes available, you might even get a chance to be in the show.

For adults and teens available on weekdays, our ballet and jazz conditioning classes are designed to work for everyone from first timers through experienced dancers. Dance is a wonderful, fun form of fitness and you’ll learn skills and terminology too. In Mr. Robert Underwood’s class you will be one degree of separation from Mikhail Baryshnikov, Robert’s first boss. In Jennifer Hutchinson’s jazz class you will be one degree of separation from “One Life to Live.”
Zumba with Blanca Pinzon is offered on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. The more the merrier!
